Our Country is in some troubled times, and maybe it is beginning to affect you adversely. As Christians we must remember God’s faithfulness and know that He is able to take care of us no matter what is happening in the world around us.
God will supply your needs.
Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Now if you read the few verses above Philippians 4:19 it shows that God would supply their needs because they gave to the Apostle Paul. So giving to God’s work and others in need is a prerequisite to God supplying our needs.
Philippians 4:15-18 “Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.”
The Bible also says that we will not receive blessings from God if we are covetous.
James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
God will work everything together for your good.
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Now, this “good” here does not necessarily mean that God will work everything out the way we want Him too. but that He will work everything out to make us more like Him.
Read Romans 8:28 and 29 together:
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
Jesus said to pray that God has mercy on us and does not test us through calamity.
Matthew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
The word “temptation” in this verse means to try and roots back to a Greek word meaning to test (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible with Greek and Hrebrew Dictionaries # 3986 and then #3985 both in the Greek.)
The word “evil” in this verse can mean bad, hurtful, or even “figuratively calamitous; also (passively) ill, that is, diseased.” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible with Greek and Hrebrew Dictionaries #4190 in the Greek.)
Therefore, in the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus showed us that we should always pray that the Father has mercy on us and does not test or try our faith by sending us calamity or disease.
Jesus also said to pray we are counted worthy to escape the bad times coming on the earth.
Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
If we judge ourselves God will not judge us.
Revelation 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
1 Corinthians 11:32 “But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.”
1 Corinthians 11:31 “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”
Trust in God not in yourself.
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 28:26 “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.”
Be forward looking and prepare for trouble before it hits if it has not hit you yet.
Proverbs 22:3 “A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
God will give you wisdom if you ask for it.
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
If you are facing financial problems, ask God for wisdom and He will lead you to the right financial advice.
If you are facing health problems, ask God for wisdom, don’t just believe the doctors, and God will lead you to the health answers you need. You may have to go searching for those answers, like I did. God always lead me to the right treatments and to a doctor that helped, until He finally answered my prayers for healing last October.
If you are facing relationship problems ask God for wisdom and He will lead you to the right solutions.
No problem is too big or too small for God. Whatever problem you are facing ask God for wisdom, and He will lead you to the right solutions.
Another good post to read is “Shelter in the Storm.” It expounds more on some things touched on in this post.
The Emerging Science That Will Cause God’s Judgement.
The scientific community is moving to create human/animal hybrids for medical research, and a recent survey alarmingly showed that most Americans would be in favor of such research.
The Bible says very plainly that everything is supposed to only reproduce with its own kind. Meaning humans with humans only, not humans with animals!
Genesis 1:25 “And God made the beast of the earth after his
kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
In addition, all humans are made in the image of God, animals are not. To mix a human with an animal desecrates God’s image!
Genesis 1: 26-28 “And God said, Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in
his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he
them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the
sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon
Furthermore, all humans are of the same kind.
We all came from the first 2 people, and the Bible says we are all of one blood. Therefore, skin color does not matter, just like hair and eye color do not matter. Any human can marry any other human.
Acts 17:26a “And hath made of one blood all nations of men
for to dwell on all the face of the earth…”
Now, a Christian is to only marry another Christian, but that is a spiritual thing, not a physical thing.
2 Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and
what communion hath light with darkness?”
Moreover, to mix one kind of animal with another kind of animal desecrates that part of God’s creation.
It is only supposed to be goats with goats, sheep with sheep, mice with mice, dogs with dogs etc. Different kinds of animals are not to mix.
I have heard reports recently of people trying to mix goats
and sheep together. The offspring usually die, but a few have lived. Goats and
sheep are not the same kind of animal. They are not supposed to mix.
One of the reasons why God sent the world-wide flood in Genesis and had Noah build the Ark, was because people were mixing humans with animals, mixing different kinds of animals together, and fallen angels (devils) were mixing with humans.
The Bible says that all flesh had corrupted their ways.
Genesis 6:12 “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it
was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”
The book of Jasher (which is not part of the Bible, but it is a history book, and is mentioned in the Bible) says that people were mixing with animals and mixing different kinds of animals together before the flood.
Now, since the book of Jasher is not part of the Bible we cannot base our salvation on it, but since it is a history book, we can trust the historical accounts in it as much as we can any other ancient historical documents.
The Bible seems to agree with this historical account of humans and animals mixing in that it says the whole earth was corrupt and that all flesh had corrupted their ways.
And the Bible does say that fallen angels were mixing with humans before the flood.
Genesis 6:1-8 “And it came to pass, when men began to
multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the
sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them
wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always
strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred
and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after
that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare
children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it
repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face
of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the
air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the
eyes of the LORD.”
Jude 1:6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate,
but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under
darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”
Later, God expressly prohibited the mixing of humans and animals, and said that the penalty for doing so should be death.
Leviticus 18:23 “Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to
defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie
down thereto: it is confusion.”
Leviticus 20:16 “And if a woman approach unto any beast, and
lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely
be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
(Just because God commanded this in the Old Testament does not mean that it is no longer valid today. Nowhere in the New Testament did God ever change this law. The only laws God changed in the New Testament were the ceremonial laws like keeping the Sabbath, not eating certain animals etc. All the moral laws still stand, and governments are still supposed to administer God’s commanded penalties for breaking those laws.)
Romans 13:3-4 “For rulers are not a terror to good works,
but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is
good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to
thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth
not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute
wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
In addition, Satan is the author of confusion, not God.
1 Corinthians 14:33a “For God is not the author of confusion…”
A human/animal hybrid is not a good thing, it is confusion. It is a physical corruption of God’s creation.
Corrupting God’s image by mixing humans and animals together makes God angry and causes His judgment.
If we want God’s blessing in our Country and not His wrath,
then America must not allow any kind of mixing between animals and humans, or
between different kinds of animals, for any reason.
If the doctors and scientists would repent and seek God for cures, He would show them the cures for all diseases without having to do any of these kinds of experiments.
God created the whole universe. He created a cure for
everything, and He would show it to the doctors and scientists, if they would
just seek Him and not lean on their own corrupted understanding.
Proverbs 3:5-8 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and
depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”
See, the Bible promises that if the doctors and
scientists seek God, then He will show them the proper cures to be healthy.
Now, a human/animal hybrid is a physical corruption of God’s creation, but the Bible teaches that they do have eternal souls, because they are part human.
Look at Jesus’ Great Commission:
Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Why does it say creature and not human?
The word creature in this verse means thing, creation,
creature (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible with Greek and Hebrew Dictionaries
#2931 in the Greek).
Now, the Bible teaches that animals do not have eternal souls, they cannot be saved, and they do not go to heaven.
The Bible says in, Ecclesiastes 3:21 “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?”
Ecclesiastes 12 :7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
After death every human spirit goes up to God for judgment, but every animal spirit simply returns back to the earth. Their whole being just goes back to dust and becomes non-existent. Animals do not have eternal souls.
Humans have eternal souls. God’s breath gave us our eternal souls at creation.
Genesis 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a
This is why all humans go to God for judgment after death.
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:”
So, humans have souls that need to be saved through the Gospel, but animals do not.
So, why did Jesus say to go preach the Gospel to every creature?
Because a human/animal hybrid is a creature, and since they are part human, they have eternal souls, they have a sin nature, and they need to be saved through the Gospel too (the same is also true of human/fallen angel hybrids).
Human/animal hybrids are nothing new. There have been
reports of them throughout history. Some people think these reports are just
myths, but some of the reporters were men of authority and high respect like Captain
Richard Whitbourne, Henry Hudson who first sailed into the Hudson Bay, and
Captain John Smith.
Jesus was teaching His church in the Great Commission that
we must reach the human/animal creatures with the Gospel too.
Moreover, since these creatures have eternal souls and God wants to save them, then they also have God-given unalienable human rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Since human/animal hybrids do have God-given human rights, it is a double sin to produce these human/animal hybrids in order to enslave them for medical research or any other reason.
The Bible also says that when Christ sets up His Millennial Reign on the earth, then these creatures will be delivered from their physical corruption.Meaning God will make them fully human.
Romans 8:19-21 “ For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made
subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the
same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”
So, these human/animal hybrid creatures were not willfully
made the way they are, but were forced to be that way by some human, who hoped
to gain something (like medical cures) from making them that way.
When Christ sets up His earthly kingdom these creatures will be delivered from their bondage of physical corruption. God will fully heal them and make them fully human. And they will partake of our liberty in Christ’s kingdom, as long as they have received the Gospel or if they did not have the mental capacity to receive the Gospel. In that case God would see them as innocent as a fully human baby.
Now these creatures, just like full humans who are adults,
will go to hell if they can understand the Gospel, but do not get saved.
Spiritually God sees these creatures as equal to us. He judges us all by the
In closing, it is a sin to make these creatures, and it is a sin to enslave or kill the ones that already exist.
Committing these sins will cause God’s destructive judgment on society.
If we want God’s blessings and not His judgment, then we must stop these experiments, and seek to protect and preach the gospel to any of these creatures that we ever find to already exist.
I know this is not a popular view, but this is what the Word
of God says, and this is where I stand.
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:26-31 “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.“
We cannot lose our salvation, but we will be judged.
Notice it says that there are no more sacrifices for sins.
This shows that we cannot lose our salvation, but it goes on to say that Christians
will be judged for willful sins and that we would be thought to be worthy of
worse punishment than physical death.
For a Christian to willfully sin is to trample over the blood of Christ. It is the same as spitting in His face!
When you decide to commit a sin, not caring what God thinks about it, because Jesus paid for all of your sins and you can’t go to Hell, it is as if you are looking into the face of Jesus Christ on the cross, seeing the agony in His eyes as He is dying to save you, and you sneeringly say to Him, “I don’t care what you want me to do, I am going to commit this sin and do what I want to do, because you can’t send me to hell anyway! I have Grace!”
Hebrews 10:26-31 says that that makes God angry, and even though He can’t send you to Hell, He will judge you harshly for it.
So, if God cannot send you to Hell, how will He judge you?
The Bible does not exactly say how severe that judgment is or what it is, but it gives some strong indications that it is worse than just losing some rewards.
2 Peter 2:20-21 “For if after they have escaped the
pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse
with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known
the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered unto them.”
This indicates that the judgement that backslidden Christians will face is worse than hell, because it says that it would have been better for them if they had never gotten saved.
Now, the Bible also says that we will lose our rewards and our mansions if we sin.
1 Corinthians 3:10-17 “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”
The Bible also says that we are not to commit fornication, because our bodies are God’s temple (1 Corinthians 6:15-20). Therefore, if a Christian commits sexual sins and defiles their body, which is God’s temple, then they have defiled God’s temple, and the passage above shows that they will receive harsh judgment.
The Bible shows in Revelation that Saved people can miss the rapture and go through the Great Tribulation.
Revelation 2:20 “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.”
The eating of “things sacrificed unto idols” mentioned here is specifically speaking of the Catholic Mass, which mixes Christianity with ancient pagan rituals. You can read more about this in my other blog post about the Lord’s Supper here.
Only true Christians are capable of committing adultery against Christ! Therefore, these people who commit adultery with Jezebel are truly saved people, and God’s judgement falls on them for their adultery, and they miss the rapture and go through the Great Tribulation with Jezebel (The Roman Catholic Church). They also lose their position as the Bride of Christ. Jesus Christ is not going to be married to a whore! Those who commit adultery against Christ will not be part of His Bride! They will also not be allowed to rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 yrs.
Salvation only guarantees that we will not go to Hell, and that we will go to Heaven! We must work for everything else!
It is true that the Bible says that God chastens us so we are not condemned with the world (1 Corinthians 11:32), but if we do not respond to His chastening and repent, we are judged with the world. We do not go to Hell, but we are still judged with the world in this life, possibly by even going through the Great Tribulation! That is what Revelation 2:20-25 teaches and to teach anything else is to add to or take away from the Word of God!
We cannot be condemned to hell, but we can be condemned to judgment.
The Bible also says in James 3:1 “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
James 5:9 “Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.”
Many Christians also misinterpret Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” They say that if you are saved you are never under any kind of condemnation no matter what you do. That is not what this verse says. It says that we are not under condemnation if we are saved, and we walk after the Spirit!
No, we are not going to be condemned to Hell, but we could be condemned to miss the rapture, suffer through the Great Tribulation, lose our position as the Bride of Christ, lose our position to reign with Christ, may lose our ability to even enter the New Jerusalem, lose our mansion, lose our white robe, and all other rewards.
Salvation only gets us out of Hell and into Heaven, we must work for everything else!
Christians will not get away with their sins!
However, we do not have to live our lives in fear of
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 11:31 “For if we would judge
ourselves, we should not be judged.”
The Bible says in 1 John 4:17 that we can have boldness in
the day of judgment.
Therefore, if we are seeking God’s will and diligently
trying to obey Him, and repenting every time we sin, then God is going to be
faithful to show us His will, and we will obey His will, and our judgment is
not going to be harsh.
The Bible also promises in Luke 11:9-13 “And I say
unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and
it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall
ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he
ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg,
will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good
gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the
Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
God loves us and He is not unjust to trap us or to hide His
complete will from us. If we seek God’s will and ask Him for it, He will cause
the Holy Spirit to reveal it to us and empower us to fulfil it.
The Holy Spirit will help us to not sin if we allow Him
to control us.
The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”
To be filled with the Spirit means to be controlled by Him. No one should ever allow any kind of substance (alcohol, drugs, etc) to control us.
A true Christian cannot fall into the sins of drunkeness or drug addiction, because the Holy Spirit will not allow them to fall that bad. He puts God’s love into our hearts and makes it impossible for us to commit the worst sins. Someone who falls into those kinds of sins has never been saved.
Christians should always be fully controlled by the Holy Spirit, so we are producing the fruits of the Spirit.
Galations 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
God has given us everything we need in order for us to be
successful for Him. We do not have to be afraid of judgment, but we had better
be afraid of it if we are rebellious or lukewarm.
Again, a saved person cannot lose their salvation, but
they will not get away with their sin either. God is Holy and Just, and He will
punish us for our sins, if we do not repent of them.
To repent does not mean to just ask forgiveness, but also
to sincerely pray and work hard to stop doing our sins. We must also go make
things right with other people we have wronged.
We can never be sinless; we will always accidentally sin until we go to heaven. But our hearts can be pure to where we do not want to sin, and it is possible for us to never willfully sin, and that is what God wants.
We can also pray and study the Bible enough to make sure we never commit any ignorant sins that could also cause us to lose our rewards.
A person can receive all of their rewards at judgment, but they must be very diligent to pray, study the Bible, and obey God in all things. You need to pray specifically daily that God helps you to receive all of your rewards at judgment, because you cannot achieve this without His power, and to think that you can would be the sin of pride.
Job never willfully sinned (Job 1:1), and he did not even have the whole Bible, the blood of Jesus, or the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help keep Him from willfully sinning. God had not offered those helps to people yet. We have all of these extra things. Therefore, we must use them, and we have no excuse for committing willful sin, or even ignorant sins that would be bad enough to get us whipped at judgment!
And as I said before, salvation only keeps us out of Hell
and gets us into heaven. We must work for everything else! No one gets away
